Call for Abstracts:
Graduate Student Symposium at the University of Western Ontario
London, Ontario, Canada

May 8-10, 2009

Abstracts are invited for presentations on any topic from the fields of music
theory, musicology, music education, composition, and performance. Submissions
for lecture-recitals are also welcome.

Papers should be 20 minutes long. A 10-minute question period will follow each
presentation. Lecture-recitals will be allotted time on an individual basis.

Please note the following requirements:

1. Interested graduate students should submit abstracts of their work
electronically. Attach your abstract (300-400 words) as a Word document without
personal identification; abstracts will be judged anonymously.

2. Incorporate your abstract into the body of the e-mail along with your name,
address, telephone number, and academic affiliation.

3. In the subject field of your e-mail, please write: Symposium Abstract
Submission.
