This was actually my second MF show. The first was years earlier... I can't even
remember how many any more... and was slightly overshadowed by cardboard boats.
The day is sort of clouded and I really only remember Andrea "shouting out" to
Sachem. I think. A friend of mine had given me a tape (labeled My Favorite: The
Early years, although I think thats someones layout program experiment) a few
weeks earlier and reminded me what I'd been missing so I took her and her kin to
the show for her birthday. I guess Michael might have sounded tired but I left
thinking how much I prefer his voice live. Something was in it that night that
isn't present in the songs I had at home. Perhaps that is just him tired though.
