Hey,
I was watching Midge Woolsy on PBS rape and pillage the corpse of the
late great George Harrison for the benefit of Exxon-Mobil's
masterpiece of fraud; and flipped to 25 and oddly enough, your new
video. Sweet. It's a funny thing, some of those 80's bands wrote nice
songs but never had the chops to make them real. For example, if
you're bored in the studio try playing around with The Psychedelic
Furs "Ghost in you" which works beautifully on a twelve string
acoustic but just sounds dead as recorded. Anyway, "Burning Hearts"
is a lovely pop song, and Andi's melodica playing is a nice live
performance touch. Speaking of which, is there an online sample of
live music to complement the studio stuff? If you can bring this
quality of playing to the stage I'd definitely make the effort to
check you out.
K.
