got your message out here in CO. Yes, Jim is healthy again, now just needs to
announce some summer show dates.

Jim was in hospital because he went to put his foot on a monitor at the edge of
a stage during a concert, and because of darkness or lights flashing in his eyes
or whatever, he stepped into thin air and did a header off the stage.
Broke a couple ribs and was in hospital almost a week, if I recall.
As to why its dead on here, as the internet has expanded (and most people don't
have time for yet more email), forums have become the preferred way to chat
about things, not these mailing lists.
This is a mailing list?!? I signed up for another Yahoo Music Group and found
this MMJ Yahoo Music Group too (URL below), so of course I joined being a big
MMJ fan. Looked like a forum to me other than no one was posting. Is there a
better forum I should join?
In any case, glad to see your all still out there. HOWDY!! - from MD.

Oh, I thought this was something new - seems like that happened last
fall? Glad he's okay - I think that happened near the end of the U.
S. tour and that they went to Europa later; I haven't kept up with the
forum or any MMJ news in a long time; still love the band, of
course! Listened to all of Chocolate and Ice out my camping
trip out in New Mexico last week under thousands of stars -
awesome. This was before my encounter with a visitor to the
campsite - I heard a sound like "keek", and got my flashlight -
went around the car and there was a 3-4 foot rattlesnake 'by my
car'! I went the other direction and luckily it did,
too!
Long live MMJ, wonder if they're working on anything new, have
you heard anything?

To clarify: Yes, Jim did get hurt quite a while ago, but it seemed like news for
the person who brought it up, so I gave 'em the details.
And for the other person confused on internet terminology, this is a mailing
list /list-serv, not a forum; a forum is a web-based msg board, like this:
