RE: [nakedflea] ukes and chemicals

I treat mine like my other instruments.  If I think that they will be damaged, I keep them safe.  I don’t have any ‘beaters’.

Subject: [nakedflea] ukes and chemicals

I usually take an old beater uke to the beach or the lake because I'm afraid of what tanning
oil will do to my prized Fluke. I know that bug spray is a desaster waiting to happen. I bought
the Fluke cause it's built pretty tough but now I love it to much to expose it to the extreme
elements. does anyone have any further insight on this?
