Dear fellow Nancy fans:



A friend of mine alerted me that y’all are here, and I would like to join in the
fun. “I’m So Glad There Are You.”



My name is Panpim Vonkhorporn from Bangkok, Thailand. I became a Nancy fan in
1996 while in school in Texas. A fellow Carpenters fan, Bro Leo Bertelsen, and
I founded a fan club e-mail list called “TeamNancy” in late 1996. We also used
NancyLaMott.com as our page to provide info on Nancy and to look for other Nancy
fans out there.



I then came home to Thailand and had been offline for about 6 years. During
that time, Team Nancy was still active, though not as busy for the lack of
materials for discussion. Bro John Kanesaw lovingly transferred the ownership
of NancyLaMott.com to Mr.Friedman while still maintaining his own Nancy site at
Geocities.



I came back online around mid Jan 2005 and rejoined Team Nancy. There are now
about 90 TeamNancy members. The old site, with myself as the webmaster (more
precisely, webmistress), was also put back online as www.NancyLaMottFanClub.com,
just as Mr. Friedman suggested.



Is there any one who may have been a member of the paper version of “Listen To
My Heart,” the Nancy LaMott fan club, under Rusty Kransky? Rusty said half of
the letters he sent out had been returned to him. He will send me some articles
from the old fan club archives to be put on the internet fan club site later.



I would like to invite you guys to join TeamNancy list, in addition to your
presence here, that is, if you’d like. Our traffic is not too bad, say 5-6
messages a week. However, I do understand that some of us may be afraid of
getting flooded by e-mail messages. So I think if there is any new development,
I will post here for y’all.
