i am a long time fan of nancy's music and was
saddened by her untimely passing. i jumped for joy when i
came across, awhile later, the cd 'what's good about
goodbye?' and devoured every word in the jacket. it was
stated that there were so many recordings out there and
i was very happy to know that, although she was
gone, there would still be more and more chances to
hear that enchanting voice. then i found her cds
slowly disappearing from the stores where i would get
them for friends who i had turned on to her music.
then i saw her out of their catalogs completely and
the website dissolved. i had heard that there was
litigation between midder records and her family and read
nuances regarding it here, but never have gotten the full
story. i cannot find any news archive to satisfy the
curiosity, either. i so hope that this does not mean the end
of her releases and her ultimate vanishing from view
completely. that would certainly be a tragedy not before seen
in the music industry. can anyone enlighten me with
the details of what has happened and the progress
towards its resolution? i feel so out of the loop here
and i wonder also if there is anything that i can do
