EARTH DAY CONCERT featuring:
Natural Breakdown with special guest Cabinet
Jim Thorpe celebrates it's annual Earth Day Festival with many
environmentally-based attractions and musical events. The main event
will featuring two great bands coming together for a remarkable
evening of roots and jam music.
Headliner NATURAL BREAKDOWN: "Our goal is to raise consciousness
through sound and word. To bring crowds to intense peaks, through a
winding river of sound. Like nature breaks down rock over thousands
of years, and how everything can be broken down to its base
component, light: Natural Breakdown is a hopeful outlook and a call
for change."
Cabinet's country and bluegrass roots shine through in their musical
madness; "Home Now", "Mickey's Wink", "The Tower", and "Eleanor" are
a few favorites among a growing catalog. Old Crow Medicine
Show's "Wagon Wheel" is one cover that the group covers regularly for
the wanting ears of its audiences (vocal harmonies among all group
members radiate best in this tune). But their set lists are wholly
original collaborations.
