Well, that's a good thing, because the party is going to be this
Thursday, October 2nd at The Saint in Asbury Park, NJ, AND Friday,
October 3rd at the Donegal Saloon in Kearny, NJ.

First, it's our weekly "Asbury Rising" show at The Saint

BLUE TURTLE SEDUCTION (http://www.myspace.com/blueturtleseduction)
...they are so much fun with their "jam-newgrass" sound that's been
described as "gypsy rock" that we decided to give these guys 2 full
sets. The WATERBIRD PROJECT (http://www.myspace.com/waterbirdproject)
opens the show, and I'm sure will set an awesome vibe. This is one of
those shows that you want to support...local acoustic guys opening up
for a kick ass out-of-town band that will get your ass shakin' and
your body movin'. Best part? It's just $7.00 with drink specials all

Friday, October 3rd, we continue the party at the Donegal Saloon
(http://www.myspace.com/donegalsaloon337) in Kearny, NJ with our very
first "Phanphest North" show! And, it's gonna be one hell of a show!
First up is Phan Phest 3.0 and Phan Phest 4.0 alumnus KEITH KENNY
(http://www.myspace.com/keithkenny), who's playing for a few hours
starting around 9 PM...and then, it's the last performance of side
project JACK 'N' THE BOX (http://www.myspace.com/jackntheboxnj)
(featuring 2007's Asbury Music Award winner for Top Guitarist, Jeremy
Korpas) around 11:30 PM. Donegal Saloon is a great room with great
people fostering a great vibe, so go!! It's gonna be a blast! It's
about time that we've connected with our friends up north for a
weekend show!

to bid farewell to Jack N' the Box. JNTB is a side-project that
weaves the talents of 3 NJ jambands into 1 improvisational music
experience. Tom Keoster (guitar) & myself (bass) THE BRAINBOX meet
Alzie Sisco (drums) & Squigs (synth) THE Jack, forming the rhythm
section of this outfit. We are joined with Jeremy "J-Fresh" Korpas
(guitar) of Asbury Park fame to make music for dancing feet and
smiling faces. Drawing inspiration from dance music of all kinds, as
well as video game themes and well-known "teases", we just take a "go
for it" approach to jamming."
