Slight update...I got as near as the front gate the other evening,
but this was after Dizzyland had closed for the day. The nearly-new
Downtown Disney area was open however, and my friend wanted to go for
some snack food at their pseudo-Cajun restaurant. The place is not
unlike other recent new malls in Orange County, with an outdoor faux-
downtown style. Free admission, and free parking (for 2 hours or
less), but expensive food and souvenirs. The bathroom in the
basement of the Disneyland Hotel was playing the Love Theme from the
Enchanted Tiki Room on the sound system...I'm told the Tiki Room is
still in operation, so I may just go to Disneyland soon after all.
