I'm in Columbia, MO, and am a former resident of St. Louis, MO--a
major center of Nektar fandom.
I note that, in the newly re-opened forum, Roye states his hope to get
through our great part of the nation in summer 2008!

And it will look even better when it lists dates for a tour of the midwestern USA!

The web site's audio feature is a real pleasure.
Contrary to conventional industry wisdom, I believe that a band's
generosity with its sound pays dividends--look at the Grateful Dead.
I believe that it will be so for Nektar, if WE THE FANS let potential
listeners know what's happening.
And it will look even better when it lists dates for a tour of the
midwestern USA!

I got it, too, I'm just so glad Andy's still involved, I know now, there'll be no problems for me getting through the logging in process, he's always taken good care of me. All my info is the same. As I posted in a reply, earlier, I've missed him, and am glad he's back. Andy, if you're reading this, I'm not trying to be rude talking about you in the 3rd person. Kosh told me, if we threatened to land on your doorstep, and make you have fun, we'd hear from you. He's a wise little guy, as cats are. If I weren't a human, I'd like to be 1 of my cats. This is a really bright spot in my summer, to be reconnected with a dear friend, who also understands the wisdom of cats.
If there's ever anything I can do with respect to communication, calling, sending emails, or whatever, I'd love to help, it's my way of showing gratitude for all Nektar, and Andy have done to take care of me.

Hello danceofthedawn74
ultradiv has posted to the nektar board that you requested notification on.
Regarding the subject - The old management.
You can view the posting at http://nektar.us/nn/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=364
And that represents yet more good news.

Disturbing, provocative, evocative, challenging . . like a Nektar song
it seems to start out as one thing but changes as you pay more
attention to it.

Hi Everyone.
The official website for the band will be re-launched very shortly.
It will be at the present address www.nektarsmusic.com but will be
completely run by the band (and no-one else).
cheers
Hey Sandy! It's been too long since we've heard from you. I hope all is well there in scenic Jersey! It reminds me of a mix of J. Holmes with a mild hint of H. R. Giger (Alien, Brain Salad Surgery, etc.)
I admit that I keep looking at the BOD cover picture and thinking of bits of the old tune:
The ear bone is connected to the neck bone.
The neck bone is connected to the back bone.
The back bone is connected to the rib bone.....

Klaus may possibly contribute some keyboards but apart from Ron and
myself, Carmine carries the 5 string bass and some grand piano parts.
There are some keys that Delmar did that I would like to keep as some
of the sounds he generated were quite unique.
If when I come over to the USA to finish off the vocals with Ron, and
Mo is available, or even Larry for that matter, maybe they will
contribute some also to the album, but they are very busy people, so
we'll see.
Time is now getting short for release schedule, so it will have to be
done pretty quickly.

I'm afraid the rehearsals will be taking place in Germany just prior to

Rehearsing in the US? Any chance of making the last night an 'open
rehearsal' and giving us a sneak preview? I for one would love to send
you gusy off with some positive energy!

Hi Ed,
That's from the NEARFest DVD. I'd love to see the entire "Desolation Valley"
uninterrupted.
I think that's from the Old Grey Whistle Test."
