Dear fellow Nena fans,
Just for your information, all the songs of the cd album 20 JAHRE
NENA--NENA FEAT. NENA have representative music clips in the Nena
Warner Music Germany Homepage( http://www.20jahrenena.de/ ), but do
not be fooled by the Carpe Diem ( Soehne Mannheims Ragga Mix ),
because it is the same track found in the CARPE DIEM maxi-cd, so that
is not a new track. With regard to the Nena maxi-cd 99 LUFTBALLONS(
NEU ), as you listen to each track, you will sometimes encounter the
voice of a man announcing "Diese sind praesentiert von Warner Music
Germany" or something like that. Please do not get immediately
irritated by it, but concentrate more intensely on the track being
played. I believe that this is meant to serve two purposes: first,
to advertise Warner Music Germany and second, to convince Nena fans
to purchase this maxi-cd. Although only the "99 Luftballons( Live
Version )" contains the third stanza of the original song, you can
always sing the third stanza using the instrumental portion between
either the second and the fourth( Album, Westbam Remix, and Westbam
Remix Radio Edit Versions ) or the second and the fifth( Radio and
Clean Radio Versions ) stanzas of the original song. I do not think
that the video clip of the new version of "99 Luftballons" is where
it used to be a few days ago, for I could not find it there(
http://www.bild.t-
online.de/service/archiv/2002/oct/07/musik/nena/nena.html, directly
below the "Fotogalerie" of Nena, where there is now just an empty
white space ) anymore. However, you can still see several stills of
this video clip in Aurelio "Yeyi" Tolentino's Spanish Nena fan
homepage( http://www.nenaspain.com/neun.html ). In case you do visit
his homepage directly( i.e. http://www.nenaspain.com/ ), then
click "Changes" and then click on "23.09.02 99 luftballons 2002
video".
I guess that is all for now. Until I hear from any of you again, so
long!
Your fellow Nena fan,
Glenn
