Dear fellow Nena fans,

I just wanted to update you on current and forthcoming Nena cd's in
which you might be interested. The first is the Warner cd single
NENA UND TOKTOK: BANG BANG which has been available ever since 10
May 2004. The second is the Sony cd album NENA: MAXIS & MIXES(
LIMITED EDITION ), which will be available on 14 June 2004, has the
following tracklist:

1. Mondsong( Mondmix )
2. Haus der drei Sonnen( 12" Version )
3. 99 Red Balloons( Club Mix )
4. Du bist überall( Pop Remix )
5. Wunder gescheh'n( Minimal-Mix )
6. Ich lieb' dich
7. Susi K.
8. Manchmal ist ein Tag ein ganzes Leben( Extended Mix )
9. Feuer und Flamme( Special Dance Mix )
10. Ganz oben( Live Version )
11. Engel der Nacht( Spezial-Mix )
12. Utopia( 12" Version )
13. Jung wie du( 12" Version )
14. Im Rausch der Liebe( Maxi Version )

This cd album is very much welcome, because it makes available in cd
album format several songs which were only available in 7" vinyl, 12"
vinyl, 3" cd, and/or 5" cd single format. The only exception to this
is "99 Red Balloons( Club Mix )", which is found in the Nena cd album
99 LUFTBALLONS/FIRST AMERICA.

The third is the Sony cd album THE STRIPES( +3 ), which will also be
available on 14 June 2004, has the following tracklist:

1. Strangers
2. Tell Me Your Name
3. Observer
4. Don't You Think That I'm a Lady
5. Leaving the Suburbs
6. I'm Not ...
7. Tres Chichi
8. You Must Be Good For Something
9. On the Telephone
10. Weekend Love
11. Kicks in Berlin
12. 1:59
13. Radio in Stereo
14. Ecstasy
15. Normal Types
16. Lose Control

Aside from the fact that it has been seven years since this album was
first released in cd album format, the new re-release adds three
STRIPES songs, two( i.e. "Normal Types" and "Lose Control" ) of which
had only been available in 7" vinyl single format. The third(
i.e. "Ecstasy" ) had recently been released in cd album format as
part of the cd album NENA: ALLES GUTE--DIE SINGLES, 1982-2002. An
even nicer thing about this album is the timing, since it comes on
the 25th anniversary year of the founding of the band, the Stripes,
and the release of its first 7" vinyl single ECSTASY/NORMAL TYPES.

Hence, I would very strongly encourage you to get these Nena music
products, because they are certainly worth it. By the way, according
to Mario Kühn, the keeper of the Nena official fan homepage, Sony
plans to re-release the Nena cd album IT'S ALL IN THE GAME either at
the end of 2004 or the start of 2005. If it should be available at
the start of 2005, then that would indeed be perfect timing, for that
is also the 20th anniversary of the release of this very album. For
those of you who do not know about this yet, the album IT'S ALL IN
THE GAME is the English-language counterpart album of the German-
language Nena cd album FEUER UND FLAMME. Should this plan indeed
push through, then we Nena fans would have another Nena music product
to look forward to purchasing, since it was only released in limited
quantities in Germany as a cd album in 1985.

I guess that is all for now. Until I hear from any of you again, so
long!

Your fellow Nena fan,

Glenn
