XSN019 - Datascraper "Remnant" March is definitely coming in like a
lion at Xynthetic Netlabel with our latest release from Datascraper
"Remnant." Five distorted post-Industrial electro-tinged tracks, at once
challenging and intimate. Datascraper is the new project from Spencer
Little, who many of you will know better as Portland / PDX from the
n5MD, en:peg, and Component labels. Datascraper explores the more
disonant side of the PDX sound and brings a heavier amount of noise to
bear on the tracks. Each track moves through multiple phases and takes
the listener through its individual story. As always, we're making the
release available to the members of our mailing list before pushing it

"Schizometric" A release date of May 20, 2008 has been set for Mercury
Effect's second release on Xynthetic, this time on the XDR series.
Schizometric is a unique and sophisticated group of tracks that meld
digital glitch and digital treatments of accoustic string arrangements.
This is one of the most original and musically deep releases we've had
