The New Jack Hippies are the Texas songwriting team of Roger Tausz and Guy Schwartz, and has also come to refer to the amazingly different revolving big band that has sprung up around them and their songs!

As Yogi Berra might say, "The New Jack Hippies are 50% an original rock band, 50% a rhythm & blues review, and the rest a potpourri of american music styles, encompassing rock, blues, jazz, country, funk, dance, pop, soul, and impromptu extended jams!"

This listserv is one of the best ways to keep up with The New Jack Hippies, as well as keeping in touch with our growing community of Hippies friends, fans, and even musicians.
