This is a phenomenal undertaking; 3 CDs of individual joiks recorded
in the Saami regions by dozens of singers. Also included is a
beautiful 310 page hardcover book (with full translations in English)
of essays, stories, history and full text of each joik. Illustrated
with many photos and drawings.

High quality recordings made by the Swedish national radio in 1953
during two separate field trips.

This set has been reissued, exactly as the original, in an extemely
limited edition. Get them while I have a few in stock. Sorry about the
price, but that's the nature of the new shipping and customs charges I
face with a shipment like this.
