Andre is still an official member of the ensemble, and as far as I know
still plays on many occasions with them. But he does not fly (in airplanes,
that is) and so he does not tour off the continent, I think.
Personally, I much prefer the trio. Andre is a great player, but I think
Roger is a brilliant percussionist with his guitar, and the works they have
recorded have all the drive they need without adding a frame drum.
