Hello everyone,
should have posted this message first before I've had posted the
message titled "X-FEST TICKETS". Sorry about that - don't want to
cause any trouble/bother.
Anyway, I'm James or JJ as I'm known to everyone. I've been
promoting melodic rock music/bands for the last few years and now
have ventured into promoting concerts (for my sins).
My first (hopefully of many) event is the X-Fest. X stands for
eXposure. The idea is expose the melodic rock scene is South Wales
and Swansea, as these bands don't come down here due to the lack of
interest from promoters. I'm not in it for the money, but for the
love of the music. Any money (as if...) that is made from this show
will be re-invested into the nest event to make it bigger and better
than the previous one.
So if you would like to come down to Swansea Railmens Club on
Saturday 4th September to see four great bands on one stage, please
come along. The ticket price is only £10 for 4 band (that is £2.50
per band). The beer starts at £1.35. It should be a great night all
round!!!
About the bands...
Lost Weekend & Sacred Heart are two of the hardest working bands in
the UK at the moment with over 1000 gigs between them during their
career. If you are a fan of THUNDER, UFO, early/classic WHITESNAKE,
DEF LEPPARD, GUN and FM (to name a few) you would be interested in
hearing these.
Quecia are a female fronted band who destined to make it big. Being
a favourite at the Classic Rock Society for a while now, the band
are now making their debut in Wales. If you are fan of MOSTLY
AUTUMN, KARATAKA, HAVEN and ROBIN BECK, etc you would love these.
Swansea's Sheer Shock Revival are an interested bunch of lads.
Heavly influnced by 70s rock with a twist, the band play the kind of
music that made bands like LED ZEPPLIN, DEEP PURPLE, etc famous...
So come on down and have a great night...
Tickets can be obtained from MUSIQUARIUM 01792-465256 (NO BOOKING
FEE!!!) for £10 or email me at webdesign@...
