On a visit to a Linkin Park forum I told some LP fans that LP's music
wasn't that original and other groups in the Industrial genre had
combined guitars with electronics before them and did it better. I
wasn't being a jerk about it or anything. However, these fans
proceeded to go insane and cuss me out and diss some great bands.

Here's a post I made:

"I've been listening to music in the industrial genre that doesn't
get much airplay. Bands like Skinny Puppy, Ministry, KMFDM, and Nine
Inch Nails had a similar sound of using electronics and metal music.
It's not as original as some people are making it out to be."

Here's a response I got afte that:

"and heres some more of my two-cents: Linkin Park itslef is a band,
mixing rock,rap, and trance, but wut makes them stand out from the
bands you be talkin about is their amazing lyrics (you fukkn dick)
i fail to hear a band that has the same skills of lyrical writing as
Linkin Park, so i do not appreciate your stupid opinions, so if you
will ever so kindly, FUKK-OFF!"

After hearing that I think this deserves retaliation. Linkin Park's
lyrics are better than Reznor's? WTF?! Go teach these losers a
lesson.
