It is with mixed emotions that Ninthwave Records announces that it
has sold out of the first ( and only?) pressing of "Electricity- An
Electropop Sampler."
This was one of our very first CDs, wayyyyy back in 2000. We pressed
up 1000 copies and expected to sell them pretty quickly.
Well, six years later…

It was only late last year that we sold out of the second volume in
this series.

Anyway. Kinda lame it took us 6 years to sell 1000 copies, but also
kinda sad. I still enjoy listening to the album. It was the first
time some of the bands got onto "real" cds. I have fond memories of
scouring mp3.com, looking for good music. Hey, even Brendan Flowers
from the Killers is on there (betcha didn't know that huh?
Subversion eventually became Blush Response…)

Anyway. CDbaby.com has four copies left, there are used copies up on
Amazon.com and Todd at adifferentdrum.com may have some left. And it
is up oniTunes (forever?)

Thanks to everyone who purchased a copy and a big shout out to the
bands. Whatever happened to Honeychurch anyway?
