This beautiful and unique documentary piece, recorded at the Walker Stage in
New York City on November 10, 2002, is a career-spanning collection of
tracks, each receiving a definitive live performance in DIJ's more recent
stripped-down acoustic arrangements. Available in NTSC and PAL formats in a
DVD Digipak. $20 plus postage anywhere in the world, more or less.

Thanks to all who pre-ordered - your parcel (dealers too) will ship starting
Wednesday and all should be out by the end of the week - you will receive a

SPRING CONTEST RESULTS!

With the departure of Tesco Kommando Kate in January, and the
long-anticipated realization of the labor of love known as the DIJ NYC DVD,
it seemed appropriate to fill the empty nest with a new assistant. Entries
were accepted until the 3/27 release date to:
a) guess which of the two canines on the home page is mine, and
b) come up with a fantastic name that has some kind of relevance within the
Tesco world, or to me personally.

and the winner is...

DRZUM who wrote, "It's the white ball of fluff. Call her 'Sunny' (short for
Sun Dog), or Oester/Ostara, for a nice spring-like name - it's a nice homage
to Richard Leviathan's band Ostara." Sunny the white ball of fluff it is!
Congratulations to DRZUM, who will receive a DVD and poster for his effort.

Other Spring Contest winners included TYR ODESSA, who noticed within just a
few hours that the DVD had been removed from the website temporarily back in
early February, and e-mailed me to inquire. Now that's a fan who is paying
attention! Congratulations Tyr - the very first copy is yours.

And the last winner was RODNEY R. of Austin, TX, who guessed what the theme
of the dog-naming contest would be before it was announced--the first clue
was: "What do you get when you take 'you' out of Doug?" Congratulations
Rodney--you get a $100 credit in the webstore. Thanks to all who
