hi folks,
sorry for not keeping up on the news around the ville. i suck.
just finished updating the web site and it also has the new skullflower lp (300
made), merzbow lp (limited art print w/mailorder copies), and a new wicked king
wicker lp (300 made, on another label) up for sale. the skullflower is going to
sell out fast. they start to ship next week after the no fun fest, as does
merzbow.
a bit of sad news. with the outer bounds of sound series, we were planning on
doing a tom hazelmyer lp. well, tom has had some serious health problems and
the album isn't done. may not be done for some time. so i think we're going to
have to scrap the lp in the series and put it out when he is better. in its
place, i think we're going to have an lp from putrifier from england (ace power
electronics maniac). get well soon tom.
good news? sure. the next two lp's in the outer bounds series go to press any
day now, wicked king wicker and ultrabunny (aka the bunnybrains). after that,
we will be doing an lp by sloth. like their other lp's it is an extremely small
edition, probably 150. mail order only.
we're also very happy to announce we are reissuing the fuck emos 1st album "can
kill you" on lp for the 1st time. originally released on frank kozik's 1st
record label pre-man's ruin, rise records, fuck emos 1st lp is one of the most
retarded slabs of bad taste you have ever heard. brilliant. edition of 300
copies.
speaking of retarded music, we're then doing a split lp with sockeye and unholy
swill. the 2 dumbest bands ever. my colon is quivering with anticipation.
probably an edition of 300 too.
and i guess you should all know, that we have a new sister label called
doom-mantra records. it releases doom metal, black noise, funeral, and just
plain miserable records. we will probably sell the albums on the noiseville
site, but maybe not. the official site for doom-mantra is
www.myspace.com/doommantrarecords future releases from worship (reissue of
their 1st LP), blue sabbath black cheer, wicked king wicker, and more. check it
out.
thanks!
