hi folks, the 2 new lp's in the outer bounds of sound series are here,
ultrabunny (aka bunnybrains) and wicked king wicker. we're putting them
together and they will be ready to ship next week sometime. subscriber copies
go out then too.

we're having problems updating our web site to list these, so to you, our
members of the noiseville group, we have a deal if you order them this week.
we'll pay shipping. yup. we'll end up losing money on the ones going overseas,
but fuck it.

each lp is $15, to take advantage of this deal, you must order by october 11
using paypal. just paypal $15 for each lp to jim@.... if you want
to add any of the other lp's we have out to this deal, sure, why not.

place your order and wait by the mail box for some very unique sounding albums.
thanks

OUT NOW: Colossloth "Antipathy In Nature" LP Very cool UK Drone, more ambient
than metal, but still very trippy. Comes in a silk screen cover and released in
an edition of 300 copies. Most of which are going to the UK, so this album will
sell out pretty quick. Go to noiseville.com and click on the "Doom-Mantra" link
to order a copy today.

In other news from Noiseville, it has been a brutal summer. Distros have not
been paying so our summer releases are all seriously delayed. The next two LP's
in the Outer Bounds of Sound LP series have been sitting at the pressing plant
for over two months waiting for the balance due for the pressing. Looks like we
will finally be able to pay them off this week. The next two LP's are
Ultrabunny (the Bunnybrains) and Wicked King Wicker. A link to order them will
be going up on the web site soon.

Next up for release is the Blue Sabbath Black Cheer LP which is now entitled
"Doom Mantra", and let me tell you, it is an amazing album. Like with most of
our releases it is an edition of only 300 copies with a silk screen cover.

We're then hopefully going to send out the SLOTH LP to be done. Like with all
(ok most) Sloth releases, it is a very very small edition. The album is called
fittingly, "The Noiseville Album" and will be an edition of only 150 copies with
a silk screen printed cover. This will sell out very fast indeed.

So please, if you can, stop by Noiseville and place an order. We need the money
to get these releases off the ground. Thanks to all for your support.

hi folks,
sorry for not keeping up on the news around the ville. i suck.
just finished updating the web site and it also has the new skullflower lp (300
made), merzbow lp (limited art print w/mailorder copies), and a new wicked king
wicker lp (300 made, on another label) up for sale. the skullflower is going to
sell out fast. they start to ship next week after the no fun fest, as does
merzbow.

a bit of sad news. with the outer bounds of sound series, we were planning on
doing a tom hazelmyer lp. well, tom has had some serious health problems and
the album isn't done. may not be done for some time. so i think we're going to
have to scrap the lp in the series and put it out when he is better. in its
place, i think we're going to have an lp from putrifier from england (ace power
electronics maniac). get well soon tom.

good news? sure. the next two lp's in the outer bounds series go to press any
day now, wicked king wicker and ultrabunny (aka the bunnybrains). after that,
we will be doing an lp by sloth. like their other lp's it is an extremely small
edition, probably 150. mail order only.

we're also very happy to announce we are reissuing the fuck emos 1st album "can
kill you" on lp for the 1st time. originally released on frank kozik's 1st
record label pre-man's ruin, rise records, fuck emos 1st lp is one of the most
retarded slabs of bad taste you have ever heard. brilliant. edition of 300
copies.

speaking of retarded music, we're then doing a split lp with sockeye and unholy
swill. the 2 dumbest bands ever. my colon is quivering with anticipation.
probably an edition of 300 too.

and i guess you should all know, that we have a new sister label called
doom-mantra records. it releases doom metal, black noise, funeral, and just
plain miserable records. we will probably sell the albums on the noiseville
site, but maybe not. the official site for doom-mantra is
www.myspace.com/doommantrarecords future releases from worship (reissue of
their 1st LP), blue sabbath black cheer, wicked king wicker, and more. check it
out.

thanks!

the long awaited new releases in the "Outer Bounds of Sound" LP series
are here.

KLEISTWAHR (Gary Mundy from Ramleh/Broken Flag)

BURNT HILLS (Jack from Flipped Out in Albnay)

2 great albums, only 300 of each made. they start shipping in a little
over a week.

Speaking of the Outer Bounds series, we promised a special record for
subscribers, that would ONLY be available as part of the subscription.
Well, we are now able to say that the special album for the series will
be THURSTON MOORE. There are only 50 subscriptions available (and
about half are already sold), so do not miss this opportunity. We are
only making 100 copies of this LP, 50 for subscribers, and the rest are
being split between me (and I'm not selling them) and Thurston. Period.

Well, almost. The records arrived today and they look amazing. The
Merzbow has 300 copies pressed on a very cool plum colored wax (the
rest are black wax). Mail orders get the plum ones. The covers
should arrive tomorrow. Pre-order folks will get their copies mailed
to them Monday or Tuesday (17th-18th). If you haven't gotten in your
order for the Merzbow and want a plum copy, order it fast as these
will not last long at all.

The Steve Moore "Outer Bounds of Sound" LP is sold out. We are
holding some copies of the LP to include with the subscription copies
that we sell. We are only making 50 subscriptions available and we
have already sold more than a third of them. It is now the only way
to get the Steve Moore LP.

Here's a bonus for you members of the Noiseville group. We got a few
copies of the Sponge Detroit Live 7" on blue wax. The pressing plant
owed us, so they made a few. If you order the single and say BLUE in
the message part of the order, you will get the blue. That is the
only way you can get it. All other orders get the green one.

Kleistwahr and Burnt Hills "Outer Bounds of Sound" LPs are at the
pressing plant now. Should have the test pressings soon. As soon as
we get them we will post a pre-order for it. The advanced interest
in Kleistwahr LP has been intense, so like the Steve Moore LP, I
think it will sell out pretty quick.

hey folks,
yeah its time for an update. a lot has been going on so i guess it is
time to fill you in. first off, the steve moore outer bounds of
sound lp will be sold out this week. how do i know? i only have 10
copies left as of today. if you know anyone who is waiting to order
it, tell them to do it now or forget about it.

the merzbow "protean world" should be here real soon. the pressing
plant is incredibly slow and the album should have been here a month
ago but unfortunately it is out of my hands. kk null's outer bounds
of sound lp will also be here around the same time. i will post a
link to order the kk null this week on the web site.

z'ev's outer bounds of sound lp is selling fast too, we're about half
way through the albums.

speaking of the outer bounds series, you probably noticed that we are
offering a subsciption for the lp series. we decided to hold copies
of the steve moore lp for the subscribers. so even thou the album is
sold out, folks who subscribe will still get a copy. there are only
50 subscriptions available and we've already sold a bunch of them.

at the pressing plant right now is kleistwahr and burnt hills, both
are out there.

we've done a lot of wholesaling lately and some of our singles are
almost gone. we will be looking at the inventories of them and
update them on the web site as well.

OK, FINALLY, the Noiseville web site has been updated with all the
new releases listed.

The 1st two LPs in the Outer Bounds of Sound series are OUT NOW and
will start to be shipped this coming Monday. Steve Moore and Z'ev.
Two great albums, I'm really stoked to have these out on the label.
You can order them on the site.

After much request for it, I have posted a pre-order for the Merzbow
LP. It won't be out till the end of the month/begining of October.
Pre-orders will get the colored vinyl issue and by pre-ordering you
get free shipping in the US and discounted shipping for outside the
US.

Something else we are doing because we got a lot of people asking for
it is a SUBSCRIPTION plan for the Outer Bounds of Sound LP series.
Since we are only making 300 of each, some of the LPs will sell out
fast and someone of you folks don't want to miss one. So we are
offering the subscription for the 1st 8 LPs.

This also solves a problem I've been having since being in the
hospital in July, I'm broke. By selling a subsciption, it will
guarantee the funding for the series.

As a thank you for subscibers (who I see as "patrons") I will have a
special record made that will ONLY be given to the patrons for free.
It will not be sold. I will make enough copies for the patrons, to
give to the artist who does the record, and a few for myself, that is
it. It will most likely be a latte cut record. I am already talking
to a few very cool artists about who will do this record. I can tell
you one thing, it will be a very cool record by an artist that you
will be very happy about.

Also listed is the new Wicked King Wicker LP (even though it is not
on Noiseville), the new 7" single in the Detroit Live Series which is
by multi-million selling band SPONGE, and otehr stuff I never offered
before.

Well, I'm glad that is done. I want to take this opportunity to
thank you all for your support of Noiseville. Couldn't do it without
you. Please tell your friends about the new releases on the label.

the steve moore and the z'ev albums in the outer bounds of sound
series should arrive within the next week or so. the pressing plant
is backed up and these albums are already over a month late, but they
told me it will be done soon.

as soon as they arrive i will post here and on the web site that they
are available to be ordered.

by the way, both albums are amazing, unique, and after listening to
them, you just want to listen to them again.... nice!

hi folks,
first off, i am sorry to those who have written to me over the last
month and you haven't gotten a reply. i've been in the hospital with
a blood clot in my leg for the last month. wanna a good piece of
advice? don't get a blood clot.
anyway, the new albums are delayed a bit because i've been out of
commission for the last month. the 1st two lp's in the outer bounds
of sound series (Z'ev and Steve Moore from Zombi) will be here in
about 2 or 3 weeks. the Merzbow LP won't be here until September at
this point. The KK Null LP in the Outer Bounds Series will also be
out in September as well.
if i am going to post a pre-order for any of these albums, i will
announce it here first, otherwise i may just hold off on pre-orders
until the vinyl is here.
i also just got in the new Wicked King Wicker Lp "Flydust" (which is
already making quite a stir among noise/brutal music folks, as well
as the new single in Detroit Live Series by Sponge. i will be
posting those albums on the web site soon.
things will be back to normal once i can get my health a little more
steady, which should be soon. thanks for your patience

not dead yet...

welcome to the noiseville group.

the main purpose of this is to be a mailing list for folks interested
in the noiseville label, to alert then when new releases are out and
available to buy. from here on out, we are concentrating on small
pressings (and vinyl only from now on) that are only available from
noiseville.com. some of these releases will sell out fast, so to make
it easier for the devoted noiseville patrons, we will send out a
message to everyone so they can get a chance to order before the item
sells out.

this is also a forum where you can post questions and get answers not
only from jim from noiseville, but other noiseville folks.

i also welcome other labels and bands to post notices about their new
releases here. but please, only post about releases similar to
noiseville releases.

feel free to post. have fun, and thanks for supporting the ville.
2008 looks like it will be the best year yet.
