and here we are three years and 156 shows later (i believe this week
is magic number 157)... last night i came home to finish the new show
and was greeted by a dead power supply... fortunately the local
computer shop was still open and i was up and running within the
hour... the little mishap reminds me of the dozen or so equipment
malfunctions that have happened over the past three years and how
they've shaped the show... in any case, i'll stop getting misty-eyed
now...

i'm also happy to announce that this week's show features an in-studio
set by david karsten daniels. he's an extremely local musician (i
didn't realize that i could see his house from my living room until he
came over and pointed it out to me) with a great deal of talent...
