so i'm a liar and the update is actually going out in a somewhat
timely fashion... i realized i couldn't dally when i had such a great
show cooked up for this week... we've got not one, but four in-studio
guests this week... we haven't done something this insane since "the
great laptop circle of 2003" (with bobby birdman, dirty projectors,
y.a.c.h.t., vrrssnn, and the lucky dragons).

well a week or so back tiger saw and castanets were coming through
town on separate tours and everyone ended up at my place... ray
castanets was actually touring with an all-star castanets line-up and
randy from the strugglers swung by to say hello so i set up some mics
and four folks stepped up to the mic (everyone else helped sing along
too)... so the in-studio this week features jana hunter
(http://janahunter.tripod.com), phosphorescent
(http://www.myspace.com/phosphorescent), tiger saw
(http://www.tigersaw.com), and st. vincent
(http://www.ilovestvincent.com)... check out their websites for more
details and tour dates!

tune in this week at http://www.noloveforned.com to hear-
freeheat, the sky drops, boat, mixtapes & cellmates, alastair
galbraith, voices & organs, chris corsano, cyann & ben, cortney
tidwell, the handsome family, james carr, magic arrows, mice parade
with nobukaza takemura & aki tsuyuko, styrofoam, frida hyvonen, katy
davidson, jana hunter, phosphorescent, tiger saw, st. vincent, rita
calypso, bossanova, heavenly, the legends, professor murder, white
flight, golden bear, pajo, analogue, oakley hall, dwight pullen,
mudhoney, and raccoon...

as the summer winds down there's still lots more amazing music to come
and some incredible in-studios. so stick around!
