the latest and greatest show is up and features a solo acoustic
performance from the strugglers. (www.thestrugglers.org)... we've
heard them on the show before, but in case you've forgotten randy has
an amazing voice. that very voice delivered three new songs and a
cover into a nlfn microphone one sunday afternoon a few weeks ago,
that you can hear in this week's show.
also interesting to note is that the strugglers are the first local,
chapel hill group to appear on no love for ned online (as i mention on
the site, shark quest appeared on my show at wrsu about 5 years or so
ago). i have more local groups on my wishlist, so hopefully things
will work out with them for nlfn2004...
tune in this week at http://www.noloveforned.com to hear-
noise for pretend, mary, the like young, serious teeth, guided by
voices, the magnetic fields, phosphorescent, blake rainey, blithe
sons, spokane, currituck co., bonnevill, savath & savalas, court &
spark, the strugglers, jason molina, fog, george, state river
widening, kanda, treetops, the lucksmiths, saloon, and brian eno.
and speaking of the end of the year, next week is the holiday show-
all holiday themed music and (sorry to report) no live set. feel free
to drop a line with your requests...
thanks for listening!
