Welcome to Nu Mu [sic!] Unlimited, the world's first virtual new music festival. Here composers of new tonal and non-tonal art music can exchange ideas with one another and with the musical public about all aspects of the festival and its content.

New members must be approved by the moderator. By requiring preapproval, we are able to avoid spam and other irrelevant posts. When requesting membership, please explain briefly and clearly who you are, including your full name; city and country; profession; and a brief statement about why you wish to participate. All those with a sincere interest in supporting art music in the twenty-first century will be accepted.

Mutual respect and civil discourse are expected of all participants at all times. Comments, compliments, and critiques are welcome, but personal attacks, hate speech, and the like are not. Yahoo allows group management to ban any member for conduct deemed inappropriate and to remove any post inconsistent with the purposes of this group. Freedom of speech--and the responsible exercise thereof--are strongly encouraged.
