This country is getting more and more evil by the minute, and it is
now directly affecting you ("you" being people who enjoy going
out
to hear electronic music in nyc).  it's still illegal to dance in
most venues in nyc, and the police enforce this law very selectivly
to ruin venues they have beef with.  the RAVE act is even worse,
holding promoters of entertainment events responsible if anyone
at
the event is caught with illegal drugs.  imo, both of these laws
are
very wrong, and it's going to take the support of our entire
community
(and beyond) to do anything about it.
