eclectic ecstatic party sounds
DJ Duckcomb has a sick collection of italo disco. And he can
play it really well. Of course he also has 40's lounge, 50's
psychedlic, 60's covers of the beatles from Asia, and on and on
this goes. He is champion of the truly wierd and many other
things. We are glad he decided to take a week off Beauty Bar,
where he Djs most Fridays, to play with us.
North Guinea Hills is the riskiest DJ you'll ever meet. He's
downright dangerous with his proclivity to mix broken glass with
sonic youth and king tubby. He's the punk of Musique Concrete,
with attention to appropriate beats. He also has a secret life
generating urban growth models for Brooklyn. So when he's
done playing you can chat about geography and population
theory.
