A quick message to say that I'm feeling quite unreasonably proud of ourselves
'cos in the course of playing 17th Century music for an English Heritage event
we included out new (January this year) Moraharpa, by Jean-Claude Condi, for its
first public outing. Great relief because it sounded good, and it's the first
time I've played any bowed instrument in public, and they liked it too! So I'm
just sharing my pleasure!
Just for interest, are there many others playing the moraharpa, rather than
nyckelharpa, in England these days?
Best wishes to all,
Richard.
P.S. I read with interest all your comments about straps & heavy instruments. I
can sympathise when it comes to playing various other things, especially to
carrying them, but I have to say our wee harpa is as light as a feather, and
causes no back problem at all!
