As we announced a few weeks ago, there is a West Coast Nyckelharpa Staemma
taking place March 24-26, in the San Francisco area, with Edward Anderzon
and Elin Skoglund. We're happy to report that we've just about reached
capacity for the workshops, and therein lies our problem…

The good news is that unexpectedly several beginners have registered. Right
now, this leaves us short two nyckelharpas. We have some fallback plans,
but I would like to appeal to anyone in the Bay area who might have a
nyckelharpa they could spare for that weekend. We don't need concert grade
instruments, just anything in (roughly) working order. We'd be happy to
arrange pickup and return.

If you think you can help in a good cause (and get some newbies hooked!),

Elin will be performing at a house concert in Berkeley, CA on Wednesday
