I'm a professional folk musician interested in learning to play the harpa.
First step,
obviously, is getting one. Anyone selling/lending/whatever a decent
entry-level instrument?
Thanks for whatever help you can offer.

Hello John,
I have wondered why you did not add the nyckelharpa to your list of musical
instruments.
I have three nyckelharpor, all are of the four-row design, which allows them
to be tuned E, A, D, G, the same as a fiddle. At the present time, one of
my harpor is loaned to my son, James, who lives in Cordova, TN; and one is on
loan to a friend in Cookville, TN; and I have the third in my possession.
None of my instruments is for sale, but I should like very much to let you try
one if this could be arranged.
If you would like to correspond further, please do so personally, rather
than via a group.
I live in Knox County, TN.
