Welcome to the list, and the world of nyckelharpa! You are probably
the only player in NZ, but you are definitely not the only Kiwi
'harpa player. I've been playing up here in Vancouver, Canada, for
about 10 years now. My instrument is more international than I am -
the sides are Tawa (for those non-Kiwis out there, a NZ hardwood),
neck is Eucalyptus, top and bottom are BC spruce, and the keybox came
from Sweden ...

It seems as though you are being quite experimental with your
nyckelharpa tuning etc. Enjoy, and keep up the music!
