Black tape for a blue girl studio update 

Hello everyone. 2008 turned out to be a pretty good year, even with
all the turmoil. We got a new president, we got wiser and hopefully more
self aware. Musically, Blacktape's Russian best of was released, I
built out my new (larger) studio and I have been really productive the
last few months, getting together the songs for the new album. Here's

 BLOG: I was in the studio, working on the new album, 10
Neurotics. Two days were spent recording drum kit and percussion with
new band member, Brian Viglione (The Dresden Dolls, WORLD/INFERNO). On
Saturday we listening and mixed, on Sunday I got a handle on the track
"Inch Worm" which has been attempting to get away from me for many many
month. Brian and I made a lot of progress on these songs, giving them an
aurally lush environment and shape that pushes them beyond the initial
