hello. this quick update gives you a rundown of recent activity with
regards to our new album, "the scavenger bride." the album is
completely recorded and the mastering is almost finished. i've
designed a beautiful 24 page booklet filled with images, lyrics and
stories that complete the theme of the album. it's now at the
pressing plant. i am extremely happy with the way the album turned
out. it's dense yet delicate and i got to work with a lot of
guests/friends, which gives new energy to my music . . . while still
givin' you the black tape for a blue girl you love....

.............
"the scavenger bride," black tape's eighth release, is a lovingly
crafted album that tells the darkly romantic tale of a bride-to-be's
decomposition and emotional restructuring, together with accounts of
the bachelors who have wooed and lost her, all narrated by the
mysterious schavager. set in 1913 prague, the recurring characters
and themes running throughout the thirteen songs nurture black tape
for a blue girl's first true "concept album."

i've been very busy getting pre-promotion ready for the cd, which
will be in stores on april 23. i know that seems like *forever* --
but don't worry; it is available for pre-order through the projekt
site and i will ship out copies to the loyal fans as soon as we have
them in our hands. the site says april 2 for the ship date, but if
you don't tell, i won't either!
