It appears that you have some big misconceptions about the
definition of freedom of speech. True and unabridged freedom of
speech is exactly what is being exercised in America. You seem to
think that just because the public does not agree with what a few
celebrities have expressed about a war, that we live in an oppressed
society. This is nonsense! For are the people of the public not
merely using their right to free speech? The public is only voicing
their opinion. The only way that this situation could possibly
resemble a lack of free speech is if the government, or some other
authority, told people what they could and could not say; And that
is not the case.
