Hi everyone. I'm a new member to the Old Time Music Group. I was just
wondering if anyone could help me out with something...
For the past few weeks now I've been racking my brain trying to figure
out the title and artist of a particular song I used to listen to with
my dad all the time before he died. Now it just seems as though I have
brain block.
The only words in the song that I can remember is "Bad Blood" repeated
throughout the song. For some reason I keep feeling that it is a
Charlie Daniels song, but I am unsure. The storyline of the song is
about the artist's dad telling him he had bad blood in his veins. He
was good at holding it back until one night he saw his woman with
another man, and he killed the man. Then I remember the storyline going
on to explain something along the lines of the artist digging the man's
grave in the rain, and him having to jump the train.
That's all I can remember. This is seriously driving me absolutely
crazy! If ANYONE can help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
so much...
