Dear all,
Do see email below, for a note of thanks from Georgina from the Vocations Team!
We would also like to welcome, and also thank Elizabeth, and Hazel (Peiyun) for playing with us (Sam, Richard, Abigail, & William) for the first time last Thursday (15 November) at the Night for Prayer for Vocations, at OLPS.
We had a fun time after that talking about japanese, and other stuff. Sometimes its the bonding that counts isn't it?

PS: ABi, would you like to write a short update on that night, for our website?? :) www.olps-ensemble.org
Anway, we also welcome WYMAN who played with us at our rehearsal but couldnt' make it for the actual night. See you again!
And of course, our next goal is to improve our standard/quality and really narrowdown/focus on what we want to play and do it well. We'll discuss more at our next meet, on whether we want to continue to focus on Taize, Mass Hymns, or wedding songs.
Either way, lots of regular practice will be needed for the year of 2008 if we want to get somewhere! :) So let's buck up... It's a do or die thing now! We either buck up and get somewhere, or we continue as we are just for the fun of music... u know.. as an ECA recreation kinda thing. But I'd think that, in order for us to provide better service to the church, we would need to brush up on our standards right?

Lastly, as I can't make it on 30th November for other reasons, let's arrange (this Thursday) for some of you (maybe not the whole troupe but just 3 or 4 at max)... to look into playing for Friday (30 November's) Friday Parish Prayer Meeting. :)
So see you next at... our practice on 22nd November, Thursday, 8pm at the music room!
God Bless,
