Dear all,
Announcing some dates that we are going to play for OLPS's latest combined ministries common prayer night.
Following the style of Taize, we'll be playing background music to the Taize songs on these dates. Join us and support in any way!
Instruments relevant are: strings, clarinet, oboe, flute, recorder, guitar.
Our next practices are:
1) 23rd Nov, Thurs, 7:30pm
PS: 24th Nov (this fri) - There will be a short common prayer meeting. Starting at 9pm, it will take just 45mins. (Optional to attend as we won't be playing).
2) 30th Nov, Thurs, 7:30pm
3) 7 Dec, Thurs, 7:30pm
These practices are for the upcoming Common Prayer event planned for Dec 14th from 8pm to 10pm, which we will play in and it will have much more songs than the Nov one.
Going forward, we intend to have the common prayer 4 times a year,
tentatively on the 2nd Thursday of every 4th month except for August – which is 3rd week, and on Corpus Christi
1) April 12 (Easter and Anniversary of Pope John Paul II’s passing)
2) June 7 (Corpus Christi)
3) Aug 16 (Anniversary of Bro Roger’s Passing – actual date)
4) Dec 13 (Advent)
