ENT "Farewell Metropolis" 7 inch single omni031
Ent are a mind-boggling instrumental four-piece that dabble heavily
in the melodic counterpoint that Philip Glass, Don Caballero, Rumah
Sakit, Dianogah, and King Crimson have all been known for. Technical,
mathematical wizardry wrapped in a blanket of melody and driven forth
by precise calculated yet hard-hitting percussion. More info on Ent

THE CAVE INS "Gridfarce By Lamplight" CD omni029
The Cave Ins are non-chalaunt as a buffer zone between arctic fields,
like motion detectors and the sensitivity of orphans. Their use of
rudimentary jazz chords and vocal harmony fills a void in one's
spirit like an outlaw eating breakfast in secrecy. Melodic organ,
fantastic vocal harmonies, and phenomenal pop song-writing soaked in
guitar reverb. Influences: Johnny Smith, the Kinks, Television, Neil
Young, and New Zealand Horror.


OTHER NEWS:
The FLAKE MUSIC "When You Land Here, Its Time To Return" album is to
be re-mastered and re-issued with added long-lost singles and
compilation tracks, as well as a new artwork makeover by Jay Howell
(ex. Shove). We're expecting to have it completed in mid-2002. For
you impatient types, we now have a very limited number of the
original LP available. All four members of Flake Music are now in The
Shins.

CRIME IN CHOIR are to have two songs from their upcoming CD/LP
