NEWS:
we're putting together a brand new two-song 7 inch single for elephant 6
collective favorites THE MINDERS (omni035). they're released some fantastic
60's influenced pop albums on SpinArt (frank black, bis, apples in stereo,
elf power, pixies, john doe). we're hoping the record will be out before
their tour in october, learn more about them at (www.theminders.com).

SHOVE fans, wherever you may be these days, jen has a new solo cd she
recorded under the name "jen schonde" with the help of dave bergman
(TORPEDO, MAXIWAGON), if you'd like to find out how to get a copy, contact
her at (jtchochinov@...). also, mark and jay from SHOVE recently
recorded with their latest art-damaged noise-punk project GIFT OF GOATS, who
will be one of four band featured on an upcoming, limited edition split 12"
(omni034). we'll keep you posted.

jay howell (omnibus artist, drummer for shove and gift of goats) will be
part of a 50 artist exhibition in philadelphia from august 2nd - september
27th that includes the likes of shepard fairey, thomas campbell, house
industries, jim houser, barry mcgee, chris johanson, ed templeton... and
more. each artist will contribute artwork on a blank skateboard deck. the
exhibition is entitled SEPARATIONS: manufacturing art/skateboards and will
be held at the 222 gallery (www.222gallery.com).
