Hey Omnibus fans!

So Dani and I made it back from 3 weeks in Europe in one piece last
night. We'll be spending the week filling in all the orders that came
in while we were gone. We had lots of problems getting the Mates Of
State LPs shipped to us, hence all of you that ordered them a few
weeks back still don't have them, but all is well now and they're
going in the mail today and tomorrow for sure. Thanks for your
patience. Here's a quick update, I'll make it snappy:

The MATES OF STATE U.S. tour went smashingly, thanks to everyone who
went to see them. We'll be updating the "upcoming shows" section with
some new west coast shows for them this week. The new album is flying
out of our hands, tune in to your favorite college radio station in
mid-september when it goes to radio.

THE SHINS are in the process of signing to Sub Pop! Details later.
Look for "One By One All Day" on the Omnibus CD Sampler No. 1 . They
should be heading out on tour with Modest Mouse and Black Hearts
Procession any day now, we'll have the dates posted soon. Sad to see
them move on, they've been good friends for a long time, and we wish
them the best!

We're completely rebuilding the Omnibus site. Probably going to take
awhile, but Matt (Electro Group), Jay (Shove, and Omnibus artist),
andI are working on it now. Its going to be quite a surprise.

The ELECTRO GROUP album is almost done, should be out this
Fall/Winter. We're getting together the Omnibus CD Sampler No.1 right
as I speak, and working out some releases by Poastal (seminal pop
legends that led to Wussom*Pow!, The Aislers Set, etc), Wussom*Pow!,
Jim Yoshi Pile Up, Trace, and a whole lot more.
