NEWS:
The MATES OF STATE "My Solo Project" album hit radio with
a bang. Mates of State was on the #3 CMJ Debut (behind
Nick Drake and Willie Nelson). Its #69 in the CMJ Top 200 its
first week.

There are a lot of new record reviews up on the site, take a
look and see the new ones for Mates Of State, The Cave
Ins, The Shins, and Electro Group. Check under old 7"s too,
we had a few stragglers. Some new interviews and reviews
will be up soon.

The ELECTRO GROUP "A New Pacifica" CD/LP is off to the
presses! This record will rock your socks off. Blistering pop
genius, distorted white noise, lots of samples, loops and
moog burried in the mix. Expect it by December.

There's a brand new zine by the legendary J. HOWELL.
This one's called "Punks Git Cut" and is available for $1.
We've repressed zines #1 and #2 from previous art shows,
they are also available for a buck. His best yet, look for the
full sized debut of "SuperMonsterSupreme" soon. Also, Jay's
second board graphic for Consolidated Skateboards is now
in stores...
