I haven't heard from anybody that took any pictures. Chris was
filming the whole show and I have heard it is amazing. I am hoping to
upload some of it on the web. Does anybody know how to do that?
Sam
Hi gang
Well what can I say about last night? It was fab. Totally packed out
and the atmosphere was electric. Thanks to everyone that turned up
last night with your support for us and also for Save The Baths Hall
campaign. It menat alot to all of us. Looking forward to seeing the
video footage

Hi Sam,
Do a great show! Will you be filming it and getting some promo pix taken for the
site as well. You guys should do a vid for mass consumption. That'd be cool.
Anyway, all the best and keep on rockin'

Hi Bob
I recieved my copy of TBR and it's fab. The quality is indeed
excelent. Also, did you see Philippe 's new photo's
:http://www.newwavephotos.com/Blondie11.htm
Fantastic like always
I am now recovering from all the Blondie shows. Should be ok for June.
PHEW!
Hi Gang:
I am thrilled to announce that I have just seen the proofs of issue
#13 from Eddie at The Graphic Touch; The issue is dedicated to "The
Curse of Blondie" and the "Phasm 8" tour. All I can say is, this
issue is
absolutely amazing -- 1,000% better than anything we have done
before. Eddie's facility has printed our 52 page issue which really
reflects all our hard work in composing, typesetting, and graphics
editing ... it is fabulous. We owe a big thanks to him, and, of
course, our staff of reporters, proofers, etc.
If you don't have a subscription, please order early. We'll be
shipping in early December. US, UK, and elsewhere ships in 2 weeks.
For info, please go to our Web site listed on the home page here. If
you want to see the cover, in glorious "Debbie-color," please go here.
www.geocities.com/blondiereview/page1.html
Scroll to the bottom of the page for issue 13.
Thanks,
Bob

Hi Sam:
Well, it has a nice concert review, written by "YOU" with some great pics and,
in another article, a few Debbie look-alikes are also featured...but we'll keep
that one as a surprise. BTW: TBR has a whole new look and vastly improved
graphics. Sam, your's will be on its way in early Dec. Now, tell us more about
these "Atomic-high" boots...
Bob
www.geocities.com/blondiereview/index.html
Hi Sam,
Thanks for the reply. It's a shame I can't find that picture anywhere - but it
is firmly etched in my mind from my youth! If you do see it... maybe it could be
filed in the photos section of the group site?
Sam, it's cool you have a pair of crotch-high boots like that. Please wear them
more at the concerts?!
All the best guys! Have a great weekend!

I remember seeing a poster years ago (1980-81) of Debbie Harry in a
black dress, black head-band, with her left hand on her hip and
holding a 'cat-of-nine-tails' in her right hand. I remember that she
was wearing the highest boots I have ever seen - I'm talking crotch-
high! Has anyone seen this poster for sale or anywhere on the web?
Sam, do you have a pair like that? They are so cool! So Debbie!
Thanks guys!
Hi Bob,
can U e-mail me your request outside the discussion group?

We don't usually print non-staff editorial comment since TBR is a 52 page
magazine and usually overflowing with current material. But, since we thought
your photos
would best be served in our annual special issue, "Sunday Girl,"
which is very photo-oriented and less news or essay oriented, that certainly
would be a consideration. I'd be happy to review whatever you had to write --
the material that would accompany your photos. If necessary, I could send you
the draft, after editing and page composition, for your approval.
I've seen your work, while editing Allan Metz's book, and like your Blondie
portfolio very much.
TBR has been a forum for photographers to have their material shown/seen by
our readers. Such regular contributors are Roberta Bayley, Bob Gruen
, Sylvie Ball, Joe Ryan, Tina Paul, and many other NYC photographers. Our
payback for them is the advertising of who took the photo, the venue and date,
and their Web site. Additionally, we usually have a sidebar or subhead with
nice
comments about their work, where it can be seen, the fact that they are
serious Blondie fans, maybe something about other projects they have done,
etc,
etc. It's just a reminder to the readers that these people are still out there
taking photos and that they have a Web site to view them and, in most cases,
that some of their material is for sale.
Distribution varies from issue to issue. The "Sunday Girl" issue will be
about 250-400 copies, the web sites (4 of them) that promote the magazine, get
about 1,500-2,500 or more hits a month. TBR is occasionally advertised in 14
various DH & B Yahoo and MSN groups and we are supported by our own Yahoo
group.
You can get more details at our new site, below.
Thanks for considering,

Thank you so much. Great shots.
I wonder if you'd grant permission for use of some of them in TBR?
Of course, full credit would be given in a sidebar, along with a nice promo
for your Web site. Naturally, I'd send a copy of the magazine when printed.

No, she hasn't changed that much. And her voice is as cristal clear as ever.
But Clem hasn't changed at all! What a great drummer, one of the best I've ever
seen.
He is simply amazing.

Hi Marc
Welcome to the group. Thaks for the comments on our band. We are
hoping to be back in London next year. But of course I will be in
London seeing the REAl Blondie and I am looking forward to that.
Check out the website for updates and news and views and hope to see
you at a gig soon
Samx
Hi Guys!
I'm new around here and just wanted to say hi!
I've been a fan of Blondie since 1978 and have seen them 9 times and
Deborah 3 times. I have seen Into The Bleach twice and was blown away
when I first caught them at New Cross's THE VENUE a few years back! I
must say that Sam and the guys do a GREAT job and this group looks
excellent!
Anyway, all the best and anyone else here LOVE the track "Sweet n
Low" I LOVE THAT VIDEO!!
If you can't get enough peroxide punk after the Carling gig in
Liverpool on November 11th, you can make your way to a very special
aftershow party at:
Cavern Club & Pub
8-10 Matthew Street
Liverpool
Merseyside
L2 6RE
Enquires: 0151 222 1957
Box Office: 0151 222 1957.
Once More Into The Bleach will be playing the hits PLUS your
favourite album tracks. In fact you can have a say in what the set
list is. Simply click on to www.intothebleach.co.uk and e-mail the
band. Songs will be picked out and the person who chose it can get
up and sing along with the band. Be Debbie Harry for a night! It's
fun all night. Show starts at 12am straight after Blondie's show and
tickets are £8 available through the Once More Into The Bleach
website.
But Will the band be 'Touched By Their Presence's Dears?' Who knows..
come along and find out
I don't see why it wouldn't play it. My PC played it. Also, I just
went to deborahharry.com and they have a whole page about the Blow-Up
collaboration with Debbie. It's worth checking out.
