July 28, 2009... David Grier & Mike Compton... Holy O' Brother, Where Art Thou?
Mike and Dave together are a rare treat. Since Mike appeared in the Movie as a
Soggy Bottom boy and then the soundtrack of Down From the Mountain, it's been
hard to get him back into our area for shows, but here we go with a great double
bill... Hot Guitar and Mandolin, what could be better? it's a Tuesday night, so
there should not be any reason to not pack the 100 seat , air-conditioned
theatre at Cartwright's Music Event Center, located at 429 N. 3rd. Ave. Stayton
OR 97383.... Show starts at 7 PM and should last till 9:30. Doors open at 6:30.

Oregon Old Time Fiddle Association with Dale Emery... This legendary fiddle
organization has been around since 1963 bringing us years of great fiddle music
and keeping the tradition alive. Joined by 94 year old Dale Emery, this will be
a fun group to kick off our summer concert series with... Bring a lawn chair,
pack a picnic lunch or enjoy the Moose Club's burgers and dogs available at the

November 21, 2009...LEE HIGHWAY... Over the river and through the woods to
Grandmothers house we go, but not before LEE HIGHWAY delivers another great
evening of Thanksgiving appetizers complete with FLATT home cookin'; and you'll
find no turkeys in this bountiful table of traditional bluegrass music... They
were here last year and packed the place, and why not, Oregon's finest
cornucopia of real bluegrass music with the gentlemen of bluegrass. Come and

Roundhouse Bluegrass Band's Christmas show... This is a legendary band known for
it's Dy-no-mite vocals and and you will be in the mood for Christmas when you
see them... We have not been able to get them here for their great holiday show

evening of bluegrass gospel music... This is a benefit concert for the Oregon
Bluegrass Association and is a continuation of the Sonny Hammond Memorial Gospel
show that has been held annually for the OBA... Bands to be announced in the
near future... Suggested donation is $12 per person, seating limited to 100
