You won't find this in TV Guide... I just talked to a very reliable source who
informs me that Laura Lynch, one of the founding members of the Dixie Chicks,
will be on Dallas TV on Wednesday, March 3, on local CBS affilliate KTVT Channel
11. As you may know from my site, Laura (now Laura Lynch Tull) sang lead for
the Chicks before Natalie joined in 1995. This will be, I believe, the first
time Laura has spoken publicly about the Dixie Chicks since she left the group.

According to my sources, KTVT sent someone out to Weatherford to interview Laura
at her home. I don't have details, but "New Chicks" fans have nothing to worry
about -- Laura has no plans to say anything mean about her daughter's favorite
group!

The station will be airing the interview at 9pm Central time, in the time slot
normally occupied by "Chicago Hope". Why preempt one of the network's main
shows? Because the local ABC affilliate will be airing the Barbara Walters
interview with some Washington floozy. Fellow parents take note: which
interview would you rather your kids watch?

Hopefully, someone in Dallas will be able to tape this for curious list members
in other cities. I'll probably tape it myself, but 11 doesn't always come in
very well and I don't have cable.

Hope this reaches everyone in time... it's midnight in Dallas, and I've got a
meeting in the morning!
