** Exciting News! **

I just got a great letter from the folks at CountryNow.com, a great country
music "portal" site. "The All-Inclusive Dixie Chicks Page" has been
selected as a finalist in the "Amateur" category for their Second Annual
Fan Site Awards! This is a great honor for me, especially since it comes
less than two months after losing the choice dixiechicks.com domain.

I would like to say a big Texas "Thank, Y'all!" to all of you on this
mailing list, as well as the other people who have contributed stories,
facts, images, and articles to the site. If it weren't for you,
"All-Inclusive Dixie Chicks" would be nothing more than a note in a file at
a Nashville law firm.

I've taken a quick look at some of the other nine finalists in the
"Amateur" cagegory, and the competition is stiff. CountryNow.com has
pulled together the best of the best in country fan sites, and I just can't
express how happy I am to be included in such elite company. I'm sure
you'll want to visit the other nominees for yourself and learn more about
artists like Bryan White, Chely Wright, and Patty Loveless. Here's the URL:

Don't forget to submit your own favorite site in their "Fans' Choice"
category through June 8. The winners will be announced June 10. The Dixie
Chicks have won just about everything they've been nominated for -- maybe

Inspired by the site's nomination for the award, I've completed the first
phase of the new timeline-based organization for "All-Inclusive Dixie
Chicks". I'll be moving it from the Beta site to the main site tonight, if
