** Search Feature Added to all pages **

Thanks to the folks at atomz.com, the All-Inclusive Dixie Chicks Page is
now fully searchable! In the background info bar on the main page, and at
the bottom of every other page on the site, you'll now find a "Search the
site" box.

With over 100 pages containing more than a meg of text information, this
will be a valuable aid for new and returning visitors -- and for me as
well! I will be able to look at the reports of frequently-used search
terms and make sure the information people want most is most easily
accessible.

Tech info: atomz.com is a free service that indexes an entire site without
any server-side software. It really did take about 5 minutes to set it up,
but power users will have a blast customizing the search results screen to
their liking. Most amazing of all, they don't require you to display a
third-party ad banner -- I guess they plan to make money by selling their
high-powered commercial version, designed for sites with 500 or more pages
to index.


** Featuring Dallas' KHYI 95.3 The Range **

This month, I'm featuring the only radio station known to regularly play
the indie Dixie Chicks releases -- along with good cuts from their two Sony
discs. Nobody else in town (maybe any town) can get away with playing
"Little Ol' Cowgirl"... as well as cuts from Dolly Parton's new bluegrass
album, or anything by The Derailers, Lucinda Williams, and other
alt.country artists. Plus, they play the classic Country *and* Western
songs by Hank Sr., Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, and more.

** "Little Ol' Cowgirl" player credits **

Back to the content of the site... I've added the full player credits for
each song to the Track-By-Track review of "Little Ol' Cowgirl". This
project was spurred by the untimely death of Dave Peters, who as it turns
out played mandolin on four of the fourteen tracks. Now, you can find out
which ones... and don't forget that you can now put "Dave Peters" in the
search box to find his other contributions to the Dixie Chicks sound.
