Here's a review for the Christmas '05 Double EP from Smother.net who
are always good for a review. (Not always good for a "good" review
but good for a review nonetheless).

Owen - The Christmas '05 Double EP

If you've been properly paying attention to this glorious site
you'll remember our review of previous Owen material. They're still
just as experimental and lo-fi as ever. Vocally it's still filled
with trepidation as if uncertainty has conquered reassurance in a
brutal bout of fight-till-you-pass-out. Folk rock and jazzy
interludes permeate the "double EP", which they claim to believe to
be the only group to use that format (unfortunately artists like The
Beatles and plenty of others have used this format before).
