The music news blog Em P Me posted a new article called "Why I Love
Getting the Mail" which is about... drumroll... our new album Noodle.

Here's the link and what he had to say- z

http://www.lovehasnologic.com/empme/2005/11/19/why-i-love-getting-
the-mail/

"Sometimes I get the strangest CD's in the mail. It's expected when
I open a package from Asaurus Records, but occasionally I just am at
a loss for words upon opening a package. Such was the case with the
package from the group Owen (not to be confused to the project that
Mike Kinsella does by the same name). The CD came in a ziploc bag on
a CD-R with a blue paper photocopied lyric sheet inside the ziploc
bag. Then there were the particles of hard plastic-like things
shaking around. At first I thought the CD had been destroyed in
transit. Then, upon looking at the title of the record, I realized
that those pieces used to be whole, and as one they were an uncooked
noodle of some variety.

Owen is the wonder-twin superfriend combination of Zachary Carroll
and Reverend Kenneth Martin. Their super powers take the form of lo-
fi recordings, a vast assortment of instruments, simple lyrics of
everyday life and a solid finger on the pulse of the past, present
and future of bedroom-pop. When a single CD has tracks that could be
compared to the likes of The Coctails all the way through to
Magnetic Fields, then you know it's worth checking out. Maybe you'll
even get a noodle to add to your evening feast. "
